Japan 1871-1959 collection in Lighthouse hingeless album plus a few 1870's "Cherry Blossoms" on page & Hagner. The pre-1900 are used & whilst a useful mix of forgeries & genuine which are not counted in the total cat. val of £5000++ using the latest SG "blue" catalogue (2008). Main value is in commems & M/S's noting 1921 50th Anniversary set MLH (Cat. £325), Crown Prince (Cat. £110), 1925 Silver Wedding 20s in 2 diff perfs & 1929 Airs plus most National Park sets & some early M/S's. Also 1946 75th Anniversary M/S (Cat. £170) with nearly all 1940's M/S's & sports se-tenant blocks plus 1949 Electrical Communications Week M/S (Cat. £140) & 1948 5y Philatelic Week. Continues with 1949 8y Postal Week (Cat. £235), Famous People set of 18 MLH (Cat. £225), "Pheasant" Airs (Cat. £300) & 1952 Investiture M/S (Cat. £120) with later issues to 1959 near complete.
